I love Jerusha's mysteries. She combines clever plots, quirky characters, and likeable heroines. Her writing is breezy and entertaining. In this installment, Eva Fairchild gets drafted into joining the moribund Felicity Library Board, which is in need of fresh blood and fundraising ideas. She volunteers her PR magic and to host a fundraising gala aboard her houseboat, The Tin Cup. However there are weird tensions simmering among the Board and she begins to notice odd events surrounding its members. Eva and her posse of senior citizens set out to figure out what is going on, which they cleverly do. All in all, another charming entry in the Tin Cup series.Product details

Most of the main characters did not develop in this book, but the new characters were engaging and the sideline characters developed in fun and unexpected ways. Interesting plot altho a bit more predictable than usual. Good clean reading.
This is a new series I have started bu the fabulous Jerusha Jones. Eva Fairchild, a former intelligence employees start a career as a PR person. Great cast of charcters, well written and an easy read. Another great mystery series from this author.
I am a serial series reader and this one rates up there with some of my favorites. Plausable plots with enough twists to keep me hooked. Great charactor development, humorous, but not silly, a diverse community of people I would like to have as neighbors. I love that Roxy keeps me reaching for my dictionary.
I have read every book Ms. Jones has published. I have never been disappointed. The characters come alive. I encourage everyone to read all of her series. You won't be sorry. I anxiously await the her next offering. B.B. Jennings
I sadly finished the 4th book because there wasn't a 5th one to continue my reading pleasure. I sure hope #5 is soon to come. It was wonderful to read these 4 well written books with captivating stories free of typos. Jerusha Jones has truly become an author whose works I will definitely be on the lookout for. Bravo Mrs. Jones!!
I like the story. There was only one thing that was jarring- and I'm hoping the author was being deliberate. She referred to Don Quixote as Donkey Hodie. I hope that was intentionally tongue in cheek and not a real miss on her part. That would be truly horrifying. But it was jarring nonetheless. Other than that- I like that it wasn't a murder mystery. These cozies seem to live off the idea a mystery has to have a murder in it- which she proved untrue. It was well told and I enjoyed it.
Once again, I was held captive reading until the early morning hours. This mystery is different. Thankfully sans supernatural, giving the police the respect that they deserve, and making the characters real--vulnerable and human--Silver Lining is well worth reading.
