I purchased this to include in a gift, but the spine is already cracked and the cover is worn. It looks like a used book! No happy and cannot give this as a present.
It's a small book however it's full of fun and creative. The recipes are surprisingly good. I loved it, good buy.
My son loves any kind of cook book he is a collector
It was more of a joke gift, but it had some good recipes in it for those of us to have used and use SPAM
I was surprised to see that the size was like 4x4"! Instead of the gift it was intended to be, it became a stocking stuffer!
...with the emphasis on the "LITTLE". It's about 4 x 4", a third of an inch thick and comes in at 84 mostly white-space pages. That's small. That's disappointing especially for 7.95.
Then there is the added disappointment in the quality of the recipes. Don't get me wrong. I love spam and know it's not gourmet quality cuisine. But a recipe for a spamburger? Every three year old in the country knows that one. Stick a slab of spam in a bun and add condiments. Or how to add spam to scalloped potatoes, mac and cheese, meatloaf, or fried rice?
I love cookbooks. I collect and read them for fun. There just isn't enough to this one to add it to my collection.
